Disability Industry Training Services has been set up to offer an Accredited training course in the "Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industries" focusing on: Accommodating For Disabilities and the Aged In Tourism

With over 4 million people Australia wide with some form of limiting disability and our aging population, it is important for industry to realise the potential of this market and be equipped with knowledge and skills to be able to offer professional service and advice on all facets of Tourism.

The accredited course will identify the market, promote and introduce new products into the market place and focus on customer service.

The training package will be available on CD in approximately two months. After consultation with Industry and knowing the time constraints placed upon people in the workplace it was decided that the units of competency could be completed in their own time.
