I would like to introduce myself and the service that I have been providing for and on behalf of Solicitors since 1986. My name is Patricia McGinley and my background in Travel spans 33 years. I had my own Travel Agency specialising in travel for people with disabilities. I have escorted people on holidays with carers both locally and overseas and have first hand information of the difficulties associated with their travel requirements.

For approximately the last 17 years, I have been writing reports for Barristers and Solicitors on the travel and recreational needs of people after they have sustained severe injuries intellectually or physically through personal injury or worker`s compensation injuries.

It is my considered opinion that travel and recreation forms an integral part of the person`s claim. What we take for granted, I believe should be afforded to those people placed in this unenviable situation, mostly through no fault of their own.
